Walnut live edge sit-stand desk
Made from a two inch thick live edge walnut slab, this desk comes with motorized legs that allow it to move up and down smoothly and quietly, for all-day ergonomic comfort.
For added strength and a classic decorative touch, the desktop was inlayed with nine bowties, made of contrasting maple.
While visiting our workshop, the client joined us for parts of the build, learning how to layout and inlay bowties, before successfully inlaying one himself.
Currently supporting three monitors and an endless supply of files, this desk is clearly enjoying real world use and abuse. Cable management trays and wraps will be added once the client finalizes their workflow (basically seeing how many more monitors can fit on top).
The desktop measures 7 feet long x 20-24 inches wide x 2 inches thick and is height adjustable from 27.9-47.6 inches (71-121cm) high.
Live edge desks are available in ash, maple and walnut wood. We do source additional species from time to time.
