Ash media center
Made specifically for a large 85 inch TV and a full suite of audio visual equipment, this ash media center was designed to be utilitarian and understated to blend in with both the electronics as well as a bright and spacious room.
To bring warmth and character to balance the coldness of all the modern black metal devices, the ash was carefully coloured in a multi-stage process, resulting in a deep, rich, colour, with wood where you can still see and feel all of its grain and character (many stains often make the wood look like it was just heavily painted).
To aesthetically fit a room with high ceilings and so much natural light, we made the media center tall (rather than low and wide, as is often done), to best fit the vertical proportions of the space, and we left the sides and the back open, with ample room between each shelf to keep things airy.
